“Terrenere” was born in Italy from the desire to experience the outdoors all-round, bringing out the concept of cooking as an innovative element. Terrenere is a modular kitchen system that stands out for concrete used in different colors, which evokes different atmospheres. The tones we have chosen were inspired by the soils and clays used to mix plaster, terracotta, pozzolan, and concrete. Each of them encompasses different places and cultures. Our kitchens stand out for their minimal design and essential functionality. Terrenere is an iconic, timeless project whose lines evoke old workbenches, washing troughs, and old rural kitchens.
"Terrenere" nasce in Italia dalla volontà di vivere l'outdoor in maniera totale portando all'esterno la dimensione del cucinare come elemento di novità. Terrenere è un sistema modulare di cucine che si contraddistingue per l’utilizzo di top in cemento declinati in diversi colori ognuno dei quali evoca atmosfere diverse. Le tonalità che abbiamo scelto nascono delle terre e dalle argille con cui si impastavano intonaci, terrecotte, pozzolana e calcestruzzi. Ognuna di esse racchiude luoghi e culture diversi. Le nostre cucine si caratterizzano per un design asciutto ed una funzionalità essenziale. Terrenere è un progetto iconico, senza tempo, le cui linee rievocano i vecchi banchi da lavoro ma anche i lavatoi e le antiche cucine rurali.

Terrenere was born out of the desire to provide significant outdoor spaces that merge with their surrounding landscapes, entering in dialogue with them. Our mission is to create a connection between living space and its surroundings, bringing to life the art of cooking. That is why we believe that areas dedicated to cooking cannot be separated from those dedicated to eating, surrounded by the same landscapes, beauty, and smiles.
Terrenere nasce per creare spazi esterni che abbiano radici profonde, per instaurare un dialogo con i luoghi che ci circondano. La nostra mission è quella di far comunicare la dimensione dell'abitare con il paesaggio circostante dando forma all'arte del cucinare. Proprio per questo crediamo che gli spazi dedicati alla cucina debbano relazionarsi in modo stretto con quelli della tavola e che debbano godere degli stessi paesaggi, della stessa bellezza e degli stessi sorrisi.

Terrenere combines technologically advanced design with craftsmanship to obtain unique pieces in terms of shades and tones every time. It is a project that takes advantage of the highest quality materials such as stainless steel, used for every part of the structure with special finishes and paint suitable for the most hostile outdoor environment. The heart of the project is our cement, a special blend of sand, soil, gravel and natural oxides from the Mediterranean lands, made unalterable by nanotechnological treatments to protect surfaces.
The Mediterranean landscapes inspired us. From the white plasters of Apulia to those of the Greek islands. From the red clays of Morocco to the terracotta of Sicily and Campania. Through the black rocks of the Aeolian islands to those of the Cinque Terre. Going through the dark sands of Lake Como to get to the colors of the Azure Coast and the Balearic Islands.
Terrenere unisce una progettazione tecnologicamente avanzata a saperi artigiani per ottenere ogni volta un pezzo unico per sfumature e tonalità. E' un progetto che si avvale di materiali di altissima qualità come l'acciaio inox, utilizzato per ogni parte della struttura con finiture speciali e verniciature adatte per l'ambiente esterno più ostile.
Il cuore del progetto è il nostro cemento, una speciale miscela di sabbia, terra, ghiaia e ossidi naturali provenienti dalle terre del mediterraneo e reso inalterabile da trattamenti nanotecnologici a protezione delle superfici.
Ci siamo lasciati ispirare dai paesaggi del Mediterraneo, dagli intonaci bianchi della Puglia a quelli delle isole greche, dalle argille rosse del Marocco alle terrecotte di Sicilia e Campania. Attraverso le rocce nere delle Eolie fino a quelle delle Cinque Terre. Passando per le sabbie scure del Lago di Como per arrivare ai colori della Costa Azzurra e delle isole Baleari.
